Initially, I thought I would just be getting good training and nutrition plan and have your support to just improve both those aspects. I have got so much more out of this than just physical improvements. Self-appreciation, self-love and self-care are things I did not expect to get out of this but they are the things I feel have made the biggest difference.”
Making the decision to start coaching was exactly what I needed to guide me in the right direction at that point in my life, it was a catalyst of a new chapter one which was life changing. Coaching has given me a new perspective of who I am and what I want for my mind and body, it has helped me step away from an old conditioned mindset and an unhealthy relationship with food and my body. I now see the gym as a solid figure in my life and for the rest of my life. Not just for a means of body aesthetic but for so much more. I accept I will still struggle with my body image and my relationship with food, I understand there is no quick fix and these things take effort to maintain, but with the array of tools I have gained I feel so confident that I have the ability to overcome them continuously.
I always said I had too much going on to concentrate on myself. This was a big mistake. I have learnt that the more stress and the busier you are the more you actually need to put yourself first. Concentrating on my health had a huge impact on my stress and anxiety levels it helped me a lot. My confidence was also extremely low and my anxiety high! I feel so much more confident in the gym now and I love training!
I feel excited for the future, I know I can have bad days or even weeks in my case, but I feel like the new me is here to stay forever and I love her ❤

This photo is an excellent representation of what you can do with consistency, time and patience. When you stop trying to constantly diet and instead focus on your overall health and wellbeing, though this shows you a body with more muscle and less fat, the changes happened first in her mindset.

I really was in a mess mentally and while I know I came Ami for the gym.... I feel it fixed me in more ways than I can say. I have a much better relationship with how I see myself, I enjoy my food and don’t feel bad when things aren’t “on plan”, I know there is no such thing as ‘on plan’ just mindful decisions. I learnt that actually the thing in life I was missing was being me and being happy and what that looks like!



Lindsey spent years in cardio classes and following slimming world. She now uses the gym and loves to push her self with the weights and feels empowered by knowing what she is doing. Lindsey also took part in both Reshape photoshoots, something she never dreamt she would ever be able to do!

I started coaching because I wanted to lose weight and I struggled with how to balance my diet, I had a general lack of knowledge on what to eat to support weight loss and all the contradicting information out there was overwhelming to me. I also wanted more support with what workouts were best suited to support me with weight loss too.
I apologise now for the amount of cheese I’m about to drop here but, this whole process has really taught me how to love myself, how to appreciate what I have, what my body does for me and to be grateful. The fact not only I noticed this, but my sister did as well, just shows how this transferred into every aspect of my life. The photoshoot was a really big turning point for this.
I really don’t know how to put into words how much this process has changed my life, I’m more knowledgeable, confident and so much happier.

Something that I'd never been made aware of before is the power of maintenance - any other plan or pt course has ingrained 'diet' in me and then when it ends so too does the result. My longer-term goal isn't so much about losing weight/gaining muscle, it's actually more about not gaining weight / losing muscle.
